Episode 6 Morals

In plain English, these are the morals from Episode 6:

Nina and Jill Target The Same Prey

I was trying to think of ways to satisfy the popular audience desire that the wife-swappers should all return to their mates, except that Victoria should lose out. This requires a new woman for Cole. I kinda thought Nina vs Jill competing for cole would be fun for a while, since they have some history together, and then in the end Jill could prevail leaving Cole with Jill. Probably Jill vs Victoria would be interesting, too, if it came up, but that would rely on Victoria suggesting she even still cared about Cole. Anyway, I bet Jill and Cole would make a good pair.

Don't miss the reference to the `Tack Estate' in here. The newsgroup folks noticed right away when the Tack Room became suddenly the Tack House. I was just following on that trend.

Hope and Vic Jr. Head Back to Kansas

Everyone's been wondering what happened to Bingo and the animals on the farm. Since the writers hadn't tied this off, I thought I'd give it a bit of closure.

Esther Helps Katherine Find Some Old Friends

Newsgroup members are crying out about how awful it is that Katherine is being dragged through this stupid drifter plot again. It really is insulting to her. The general sense is that the writers have allowed her to go crazy, so I thought I'd just play out that scenario.

Also, there are getting to be so many people in the land of the lost or the crazy that maybe we ought to hold some plotlines there, or spin off a separate show...

Victor Learns of Josh's Former Wife

The cyst thing is still unexplained. It came and went without comment. I was just looking for a way of tying together that with the recent view of Josh's wife in what looked like a mental institution. The scene I chose was for humor, but the message is: people want answers about the details that are dangling.

That's all for Episode 6's morals. Don't miss Episode 7 and its morals!
