Episode 69 Morals

In plain English, these are the morals from Episode 69:

Alice, in search of Cassie, first comes upon Nick.

Do I have to go into great detail about why I wrote this one? Good grief, another blonde!! Does everyone on the show have to be a Cricket clone? This cried out instantly for the accidental bedding plot to be (mostly) replayed. (Well, I am trying to make them slightly different each time so you don't get totally bored.)

Michael gets off easy.

Now that we know Phyllis is a computer whiz, I've been trying to think of things we can do with that talent. This seemed like a really obvious choice. Don't expect this to be the last one.

And anyway, I've been looking for a way to rehabilitate Michael to the status of a real lawyer. I'm pretty happy with this, and we may see more AWO stories in which Michael's a real lawyer.

John Silva really gets into it with Ryan.

This thread was entirely the product of that one line of Trisha's on the show, where she said something like ``Ryan's locked in jail without his lawyer.'' Whatever it was she said hit me just this way, and I had to build this storyline just to explain what was in my head when I laughed at the line she used on the show.

Besides, this gave me a chance to play dumb-bunny Trisha for all the humor she's worth. I'm enjoying her portrayal of the character these days, even if I do think the character is stupid as can be. This kind of comic relief is essential given how miserable all the plots around her are being these days.

That's all for Episode 69's morals. Don't miss Episode 70 and its morals!
