Episode 132 Morals

In plain English, these are the morals from Episode 132:

Will Carter get the shock of his life when he visits Jordan?

I really couldn't believe that Carter, his adrenaline no doubt pumping, didn't set off some signal to the nurse at the nurse's station when he wired the machine up to himself. So I decided to explore what should have happened.

Ok, I admit the shock part isn't realistic, but I thought it was fun. I hope you did, too.

I'm also a little tired of this "wrongly accused of drugs" thing that Y&R has done to death on so many occasions, which is why I tried to just wrap it all up here "prematurely" with a neat and pretty bow.

It looks to me like the writers are trying to get rid of Nick so that Carter can move in to romance and console Sharon while Nick's out of the way. I don't know. Maybe that will work. I just wish they could come up with some other way of getting him out of the way. In fact, I'm really rooting for Larry coming in at the last minute and confessing because of a guilty conscience. (Though I assume if that happens, Nick will convince people not to believe him.)

By the way, that thing with the radio that just appears out of nowhere to do special reports did come from the show. Am I the only person that noticed it and was a little bugged?

Will Olivia shock us by spending a day without moaning over Neil?

I put Olivia in here, as the title says, just to get her to stop moaning over Neil. I only care about people who I have some reason to care about and it's been years since Olivia did anything that would make me care about her at all.

The woman needs a life, or else watching her life go to pieces becomes nothing more than tedium.

Will Phyllis' arrival at the christening come as a shock to anyone?

No real strong message here. I actually quite enjoyed the recent antics with Phyllis menacing "Bugs". Mostly I just hope she's going to do more of this. I like it when she goes out on a limb and does things like the "locking in the closet" gag that could actually land her in trouble.

That's all for Episode 132's morals. Don't miss Episode 133 and its morals!
