Episode 127 Morals

In plain English, these are the morals from Episode 127:

The Tragedy of Billy and Mac

One of my readers gave me the idea of doing this when she mentioned in e-mail the theme of Romeo and Juliet in the context of the Tony/Meg storyline. At the time, it didn't seem right to me. But then later, in other e-mail, the same reader also noticed before I did that Mac and Billy might be destined for each other. That seemed the right application of Romeo/Juliet, especially with the divided household and the feuding families and all. So thanks for the idea, Janet! I hope you and your mom enjoyed this one.

This also gave me a platform to register my bet that when they finish squabbling over Phillip, Jill and Kay will move on to squabble over Rex. (I never did understand why both of them suddenly stopped talking about him all of a sudden. It didn't seem right. But I guess it detracts from this storyline for them to mention they had a more recent entanglement that both were party to...) Still, even though I think they probably will move on to lamenting Rex, I wish they'd both go get lives and find something new to fuss over.

It looks like there's some hope Jill will become an alcoholic. That might be interesting to watch. It would give Katherine a new way to deal with Jill, perhaps evening the score in some sense.

That's all for Episode 127's morals. Don't miss Episode 128 and its morals!
